(I'm working on a Leon image gallery, which will have all of the following faces of Leon organized all pretty for you.)
RESIDENT EVIL 2 FMV LEON:
First you have the Resident Evil two graphics Leon. His hair is brighter, almost red looking, at some times. And other times a brown with reddish tint. His eyes are extremely
bright blue. And let's all agree that Capcom still needed work on animating a totally CGED close up dead on shot of Leon's face. But this was our first taste of Leon, and we still loved
it, so who gives a fuck about the flaws anyways? They still did some decent side shots and such.
RESIDENT EVIL 2/RESIDENT EVIL GAIDEN INGAME LEON:
Then we have the ingame shots. Which in some ways, look better than FMV shots. In both, Resident Evil 2, and Resident Evil Gaiden, Leon has brown hair with a red tint to it.
But the RE2 images sport far more detail (but of course!)
RESIDENT EVIL 2/OFFICIAL CAPCOM CGED IMAGES:
Capcom's Cged images of Leon are a league of their own. Never smiling like a runway model, we see Leon with perpetually perfect hair in these images (no matter what obstacle he's
over taking) and he's still got a small frame.
A little later Capcom released another series of Leon Cged images along with their PC release of RE2, and he looks slightly different. His face looks a little more aged or "serious",
and you can see from the whole body shot that they made his face a little less pretty with some well-placed lines done with shadowing on his face.
RESIDENT EVIL 2 CAPCOM OFFICIAL GAME SKETCHES:
The Sketched Leon has a sexy style. Still never smiling and sometimes striking a pose, the idea sketches for Leon that were released are very pretty in their simple way. He's got
chestnut brown hair, and blue eyes when they're actually colored in, and the small frame remains. The artists also got playful with their creations, as all artists should, and they drew a
drawing with Leon all thugged out old-school style (hat tipped into his face, old school Orlando Magic lookin' wind breaker- our generation baby! I'm such an old school junkie :P) And
then they drew a classic looking Leon with a simple sexy air, You know, the light dinner jacket and the loose black shirt underneath, brown hair framing his classic face.
I wish I could credit the artists who drew the Capcom approved sketches. The sketches, especially the rough one's, are my favorites, and I will have more
provided for you to see soon.
RESIDENT EVIL 4 LEON:
Oh…my shit! He looks so damned different. But Capcom has surely improved! Amazing! But he looks less pretty. And I think they tried to give him that scruffy sexy look, which I like
just fine. Note the less-healthy complexion. He's not perfect like he was before, which makes him far more realistic. And look at the hair, you can almost run
Your fingers through each strand- it looks so damn real. And somehow his eyes turned green. But any long time gamer junkie knows that in a sequel, the well liked star of the game who
was praised in the previous one is going to sport a different look to try to lure the fans in more. It's a moneymaking tool that works really well. How many people bought the Parasite
ve 2 (which had beautiful graphics, but still sucked ass) because of Aya's cute new hair cut, increased bust size, angel face, and green eyes changed blue? I see huge success for
RE4- and I'd see more if they'd let if be available to fucking playstation 2! ;p
RESIDENT EVIL 2 SKETCH:
Finally we get to that very nicely drawn image when you beat a Leon scenario in Resident Evil 2. The very first time I finished beating that game 4 years ago and the image of Leon popped up, I thought it was Rebecca Chambers! Especially since I had received a C rank, making it look like "she" was
wearing a hoop earring. And Leon looks ESPECIALLY pretty in this picture. Pouty lips, pretty blue eyes framed with long lashes, gorgeous hair. I thought he was a girl --Leave me
alone, that was almost 5 years ago, I was young! But I can surely see the boy in him now. He looks so pretty in this picture- with all the features of classic feminine beauty.
BIOHAZARD 2 JAPANESE COMMERCIAL LEON:
And as for live action Leon, we have Brad Renfro who stared in the Japanese Biohazard 2 commercial. Despite whatever hating he may have received, I give 100,000 props to the
costume; I should know it's perfect down to the last detail, assuming I wrote that whole uniform bullshit. And the actor has Leon's facial features. He doesn't have the same exact hair
as Leon, but I like her hair anyways. A+. ;]
If there's any other drastic looks you fanatics want to bring to my attention, please do, I love you- I fucking swear. Don't limit yourself to game characters! (Credit for the images goes to Resident Evil fan - thanks for the CG images, and the RE2 end-of-game sketch. Then credit must be given to Resident Evil survival horror for the sketches. I made the screencaptures and I've had the ingame shots forever so I don't remember where they are from.
