What's in a Name-?

The North American name for this monster, Jigglypuff, is not in need of any sort of evaluation. The dubbers were just on crack is all. Jiggly Puff sounds like some sort of snack food, or breakfast cereal. Yum! The only Breakfast cereal made of Jell-O with swirls of marsh mellow Puff- Jiggly Puffs! =P Asses. Not only does a Purin LOOK like the ultimate pussy pocket monster, but they had to give it that gay ass name.

But the Japanese name is Purin. And if you go to Japan and ask for some Purin, you'll get yourself a nice creamy bowl of budding. Which is quite delicious, mind you. Purin is also the name of Sanrio's chubby little brown pup that wears a Beret. In fact, I've seen Purin associated with all things chubby in the Japanese world. So I'm guessing Purin could also be a nick-name for something soft and chubby? If someone knows, tell me and keep me from making such an ass of myself.
