Animated
In the pocket monster animated series, Kasumi, Satoshi, and Takeshi find Purin while they walk through the Forrest on the outskirts of Neon City. Kasumi reveals that she's always
wanted one, even if it's not a water type (her preference) because they're so cute. Kasumi tries to capture the sweet puff of cuteness, but he attempt fails. The Purin has no will to
battle because it can't sing. Takeshi finds a fruit that revives Purin's voice, and she performs for them. Unfortunately, everyone falls asleep on her. And she gets her revenge by
drawing all over their faces with Satoshi's permanent marker. By the end of the Episode, Purin is nowhere to be found. Kasumi complains because she wanted to catch it. But we
later see Purin following them to their next destination.
Throughout the rest of the series, Purin follows the gang to their various destinations. Sometimes Purin's lullaby is welcomed and needed when the gang needs it to dispose of an
enemy or something. But usually, everyone runs away from Purin in fear before it can even start singing. Purin gets itself into a lot of trouble my having these "delusions". It
imagines everything is a stage =p A pile of rocks, a table, an airplane. The results can be comical and cute. Purin is always dreaming of being on a stage with bright lights, and being
adored by an audience that DOESN'T fall asleep with it sings. It wants everyone to hear it's lullaby and praise it's beautiful voice.
I think the funniest season for Purin is the Orange Island League. While Satoshi, Kasumi, and the new boy Kenji float around on Laprass, Purin is never far behind, floating on
something and looking distressed and desperate to hold on. =] I like to see if suffer.
