Why an Eve Shrine?
Eve’s even sexier than the total recall chick with the three boobs, she’s got to have like 3 times as many in her pregnant form, am I right? Think of all those nipples! Hell yes! On a more serious note… Eve has always fascinated me, even when I first saw her as an 11-year-old girl. She’s a very unique villain in every way. And as I’ve aged I find her even more interesting than Aya Brea. In Parasite Eve 1 Aya was a no-frills female. She is rare in video games just by the fact that she is, appearance aside, a very normal girl. And normal can be a little boring. But Eve, with all those fancy sexy transformations is anything but. This website is my salute to the originality that is she. Yes.
Why “Parasite Queen” ? - the brief website history
About 6 years ago I started working on an Eve shrine I was going to call “Evolution” and later “Natural Selection”. At the time there was an Eve shrine entitled Evolution that was a very high quality dedication. There was no need for me to be redundant and make another Eve shrine when such a good one already existed, so my project was abandoned. So years later and all Eve shrines I know of are gone, I found my Eve/Aya shrine progress on an old disc and decide, “Fuck it, I’m making this website!” Since “Evolution” and “Natural Selection” have already been used for websites I decided on “Parasite Queen” after a little thinking. This mostly describes Eve’s flair for the dramatics. And she does think of herself as a ruler. Ironically AFTER I chose “Parasite Queen” for the website title, I bought the Parasite Eve book. And more than once Eve refers to herself as a Queen! So I suppose I chose my title wisely, even if it sounds silly.
